Files
Drag a file already on this Mac into the notch, then drag it out to Finder or another app. It stays on the Mac and is not uploaded.
Open Downloads, Desktop, and Documents from the notch, and filter by images, video, or documents.
AirDrop
Drag files into the AirDrop zone in the notch and pick a nearby device to send. Added in version 1.3.5 on 2026-10-16.
Clipboard
See copied text, links, images, files, and videos in one place, and filter by type. Double-click an item to put it back on the system clipboard.
History stays on this Mac. Opening Clipboard does not ask for permission. You turn it on yourself.
Mirror
The camera runs only while the panel is open. Default order: built-in, then an external camera. iPhone Continuity Camera is used only when no local camera is available. A camera you pick wins.
Fill light is a warm-white glow at the panel edge. The slider sets it, and 0 turns it off. It does not change system brightness. With no camera, the panel still opens and says it is unavailable.
Music
Desktop: Apple Music and Spotify. See the current track, and control playback, skip, seek, and volume.
Safari web music supports Apple Music, Spotify, NetEase Cloud Music, and QQ Music. Settings can open those sites. Seeking and volume on the web depend on the player.
When nothing is playing, the panel keeps only Music Settings.
Liquid Glass
The notch panel uses Liquid Glass. File names stay readable before you hover, and the glass opens and closes more smoothly.
Appearance can be Folded or Compact. Expansion sensitivity: Low, Recommended, High.
